Started so good.. and then bamm!!! : (

Ok Spoilers ahead.....you've been warned. So this is the second book I've read in this series. I have to say that overall, the story is great. Lots of time spent building out the characters and relationships. If I had reviewed this series after book one I would say near 5 stars, but after reading part two I can only give it three. Here's the problem, you have this bad a** hero Gage. He's the prez of the MC and 32 and a total alpha male. He blows people away without a worry if the need to be dealt with. Somehow this big bad biker feels he has to wait to consummate his relationship with our female lead because she is 3 months shy of 18, even though the age of consent in Georgia is 16. So they wait, and wait for our young lead to reach 18. SPOILER SPOILER!!!
Then the day of her birthday. ...the day we've all been waiting for, she gets raped by someone with a dildo?!?! And that is the end of book 2??? Really??! Was that necessary?? Sorry, but that was the most anticlimactic thing I have ever read. Sucked. ....

Great start to a new series!!

This was my first book by Alana and I can honestly say it will not be my last!!
Raven is a 17 year old girl waiting for life......
Gage is an older man living llife....
Together they a FORBIDDEN....
Apart they are lonely.....
This book was hott!! Now with her being 17 there was NO sex, but, they sure did have some naughty fun! And the chemistry? Off the chains hot! These to just mesh and belong together!!
Raven is 17 and living with her sister, there is no love lost between the 2 but there are secrets that I can’t wait to find out. She is torn between her feelings for Gage and not wanting the same life as her sister.
Gage is older ( I can’t remember exactly but I think 32?) he’s the president of the Death dealers MC and he’s happy with how things are. Not looking for or to make a commitment he runs into Raven and things change, slowly. But he starts to see what he might be missing.
There was 2 things I did not like, 1 it ends in a sort of cliffhanger, it does say that in the synopsis so you’ve been warned, but I got an ARC and It was probably there so I didn’t pay attention. And that’s ok because I LOVED it anyway. I strongly recommend you read this book. It’s not heavy on the MC and more focused on their relationship. Now the other thing? And i don’t consider this cheating and you never have to read about it happening, you just know it is, is the fact Gage tried to “Screw” her out of his system with other women. BUT and this is a big one, they do not have sex and things are up in the air with them, so again NOT cheating. Having said that this book is still 5 stars for me!
Chemistry is HOTT! Characters are developed, plot is fantastic, intrigued by the secondary characters and I really can’t wait for book 2!!!

Cliffhanger, but totally worth it!!!

I read this book start to finish and I didn't want it to end. Yes, it ends on a cliffhanger, but you're so sucked in by the end, you know you'll be counting down the days until Tempted is ready. This is the first book of Alana's that I have read, but it definitely will not be the last!!! Raven and Gage have undeniable sexual attraction for one another, but Gage is fighting it because Raven is only 17!! Raven doesn't want to have anything to do with the smoking hot President of the Death Dealers. Sure she finds him attractive, but she's not here to be the club's whore like her half-sister, Lonnie. Gage finds it hard to stop thinking about Raven, after a month he decides to go to her workplace for a bite to eat. He finds Raven zombie-like and wonders what's wrong. Before he leaves, he follows Raven outside when she runs out. He comforts her, while she's crying and he finds the bruising on her arm. He is livid!! Who's hurting her? She doesn't tell, she says she ran into a door. Will Gage find out who's hurting Raven? Are Gage and Raven going to ever hook-up, other than the smoldering phone sex? Some people may be disappointed because this ends on a cliffhanger, but once you start reading, you will want more, more, more!! I do believe Alana has the start to a wonderful series on her hands. She just needs to write faster!! I HAVE to know what's next.?? I received an arc for an honest review.
